Bio
With captivating live shows across five countries, including support slots for acts such as «Mind Enterprises», Paraphon have established themselves as one of Switzerland’s most exciting new live acts. The duo from St. Gallen captivates audiences with a sound that evokes nostalgia while sparking an irresistible urge to dance. Blending driving beats, distinctive synthesizers and funky guitars, Paraphon combine the charm of past decades with a modern sound of their own.
Since 2021, Paraphon have continued to develop their musical identity, releasing four EPs and one album. Their releases bring together rhythmic guitars, catchy basslines, straight-ahead drum machine beats and dreamy, slightly melancholic vocal melodies to create a distinctive sonic signature. On stage, this sound comes alive in full force, inviting audiences to escape everyday life for a moment and immerse themselves in a world of shimmering neon colours and dreamy sounds.
Nostalgic, danceable and full of energy: Paraphon bring their very own brand of synth-pop to the stage and the dancefloor.
